Cutting Through to Mind’s True Nature

Commentary by Gyalten Khen Rinpoche

The Ganges Mahamudra upadesa is a doha (spiritual song) given by Tilopa to his student Naropa on the banks of the Ganges River. It is comprised of 28 stanzas encapsulating the full spectrum of sutra and tantra mahamudra. Mahamudra “Great Seal” is a Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice that teaches, a prepared student, how to realize the profound true nature of their mind—which is empty in essence, luminous by nature and unlimited in its capacity. Through Khen Rinpoche’s insightful instructions on the nature of the mind you will learn how to cut illusions trans-forming all your daily experiences into the royal path of liberation from suffering.
